Baron Rainer Kensy von Echlin covers an intensive career in private banking, asset management and consulting. He worked as an executive in alternative investments, covering the whole value chain with institutional, wholesale and private clients. Today he manages his family's portfolio of assets and consults PEP and state institutions in the area of impact investing.
His philanthropic interests are documented in his work as the global coordinator for the francophone world of the Order of St. John (Johanniter, Saint Jean) and also in his social investing projects to clean up the Lake Victoria in Africa www.save-the-lake.org.

His main achievements include:

	Global coordindator for the francophone world of the Order of St. John, Paris.
	Member of the Board of the asset management subsidiary of a Swiss private bank.
	Set up of BS Asset Management Europe for Bear Sterns, London.
	Global Head of Alternative investments at UBS Private Bank, Zürich.
	CEO of the research subsidiary of RMF, Pfäffikon.
	Head of Sales D&CH for Salomon Brothers, Frankfurt.
	Derivative Sales / Product Structuring / Portfolio Management at Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse in Germany, Japan, and Switzerland.

Baron Rainer Kensy von Echlin holds a Ph.D. in financial economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, an MBA in finance from the University of Massachusetts, USA, and a Master degree in engineering from the University of Berlin, Germany.

More than 40 international publications, including four books were authored by him. Additionally, he is a Curriculum Board Member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.
